Flag Lease Program

The Hutto Lions Club is able to help so many people in our community through fundraising. Our main fundraiser is our flag lease program. Leasing a flag from the Hutto Lions Club benefits many in our community and is a way for you to make a difference. By purchasing a lease each year, you are contributing to scholarships for graduating high school seniors, minor home repairs, sending families to Summer camp, and more!

How It Works

Community members complete the lease agreement and submit payment. A member of the Hutto Lions Club will come to the address provided in the lease, set the flag pole holder in your yard, with a cap. Then on the next flag holiday, a Hutto Lions Club member will deliver and install your flag. After the holiday has passed, a Hutto Lions Club member will return to pick up the flag and place cap over the flag pole holder. This process will be repeated for every holiday over the course of the calendar year. It's that easy!

Flag Holiday Information

Currently, there are 8 flag holidays we observe and distribute flags for. When a flag holiday occurs, the Hutto Lions Club members will place the number of flags leased and when the holiday is over, they will return to collect flags and place cap on the flagstaff holder. Service Area The Hutto Lions Club serves both the city of Hutto and the Hutto ISD.

What It Costs

The flag lease program is currently $50 per year and covers 8 holidays (listed above). Payment is due at time of lease agreement completion. After the Independence Day Flag Holiday, fee is $40 for the rest of the year. After the 9/11 Flag Holiday, fee is $50 which will pay for the Veterans Day Flag holiday and the following year. Payments submitted 1 week prior to a designated holiday will be reflected by flag being placed during that holiday. If you have additional questions or special circumstances, contact us.

Option 1: Mail-In
If you are ready to lease a flag, you can download the form, print it, fill it out, and mail it in with a check to the mailing address listed in the lease agreement.

Please complete the lease agreement and click submit button to save your application. After submitting, click the "Make Payment" button to complete payment. Agreements received without payment DO NOT QUALIFY for the lease program until payment is received.
